Founded in 1936 by Herman Lawrence and Sara Goldman Art, H.L. Art Jewelers is still an independently owned and operated full-service jewelry store.
Originally located at 18 North Park Place (now the Goumas Candy Store), we moved in 1962 to our present location, formerly the Chatter Box restaurant.
H.L. Art Jewelers was one of the first credit jewelers in the area, offering items such as cameras, razors and other smaller household appliances, as well as jewelry.
Over the past 70 plus years we have evolved into a finer full service jewelry store, and we still offer our own in-house financing of your jewelry purchases.
Herman L. Art was very civic-minded, giving back to the community that supported him. This is still true today, as H.L. Art supports a number of charitable causes which include United Way, Hospice, Alzheimer, and The Make A Wish Foundation.
H.L. Art Jewelers employs eight associates, nine during Christmas, who are all active in the local community.
Friendly and knowledgeable, we are here to assist you, always working in your best interest!
